What this page is
WebJi wrote this page. WebJi is not Bluehost, and this is not their support desk. The names are used only to identify the products. Their phone numbers, chat lines and support email addresses are not published here.
Bluehost is a hosting company people in India often meet through WordPress tutorials priced in US dollars. An India comparison falls apart if the dollar intro price is set next to an INR renewal. Keep both numbers in the currency the invoice uses.
The price we will not invent
A stable public price was not captured from this company's own page on 29 October 2026. A guessed rupee figure would be worse than a blank, so this page does not print one. On their pricing page, write down the introductory monthly price, the term that price requires, the renewal price, the currency, the tax line, and what is included. That note is the comparison.
Open Bluehost's own hosting page while you are in India and record the currency it shows you. A page that switches between dollar and rupee offers is still one purchase: the cart's currency is the one you pay.
What to line up before you call it an alternative
Use the same rows for Bluehost and for whoever you are comparing.
- Intro price, term length, amount due today.
- Renewal price for that same plan.
- Sites, storage, and whether mail and backups are included or extra.
- Where you download a full copy of the account. If the panel is cPanel, that is cPanel's backup. If it is not, use files plus a database export.
- Invoice currency and tax.
WebJi's shared page is in INR: L-Basic ₹300/month before 18% GST. It is only cheaper if Bluehost's renewal, after conversion and tax, is higher. Do the arithmetic from the cart, not from a banner.
How a move works
Copy the site while Bluehost is still paid. Check the copy on a temporary address. Then change the A record or the nameservers. Leave the Bluehost account in place until mail has been tested. The domain can stay at its current registrar. Step-by-step notes are on move a website off Bluehost. Bluehost's support number is not part of those steps and is not listed here.
Rates printed on this website
These figures are WebJi's, printed on webji.in. They are not a price for any other company.
Shared hosting lists L-Basic at ₹300/month (₹3,000 for one year), L-Unlimited at ₹400/month (₹4,000) and L-Developer at ₹700/month (₹7,000), before 18% GST. That page also says renewal rates are printed before you pay. The shape of the price is a monthly rate and a one-year total, not a 36-month or 48-month introductory rate.
Domain registration lists indicative ranges, before 18% GST: .com registration ₹900–1,200/year and renewal ₹1,000–1,400/year; .in registration ₹500–800/year and renewal ₹700–1,000/year. A range is not a cart total. The amount at checkout is the price.
Where another company's renewal figure is lower than ₹300/month, that is what their page showed. Compare that renewal figure with L-Basic, then add tax on both sides. A lower first-term advertisement is a different number from the renewal.
What was read on 29 October 2026
An attempt to read a Bluehost price page did not return a plan table we were willing to publish. WebJi's own shared rates were read from the shared hosting page on this site.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there no Bluehost rupee price here?
Because a clean price table was not returned from Bluehost's own page on 29 October 2026. Publishing a figure from memory or from another website would dress up a guess as a fact. Read their page and keep a screenshot.
What is the one number that should decide a switch?
The renewal, in the currency you will be billed, plus tax, for the plan you will still be on in year two. The introductory monthly price is real only for the term printed next to it.
Do I need Bluehost support to export the site?
No. Use the backup tool in the panel you already log in to. If that panel is cPanel, use its full backup. If it is not, download the site files and export the database. Their phone line is not required, and it is not published here.
Can the domain stay registered somewhere else?
Yes. Hosting and registration are separate. Point DNS at the new host. Transfer the domain only when you want the registration itself to move, and only after you have the authorization code.
What does WebJi list for shared hosting?
L-Basic ₹300/month, L-Unlimited ₹400/month, L-Developer ₹700/month, before 18% GST, on the shared hosting page. Those are monthly list rates with a one-year column. They are not a Bluehost price.
What should I save from the Bluehost cart?
Plan name, currency, term in months, amount due today, renewal amount, and the tax line. Date the screenshot. If this article and that screen ever disagree, the screen wins.
