What this page is

WebJi wrote this page. WebJi is not BigRock, and this is not their support desk. The names are used only to identify the products. Their phone numbers, chat lines and support email addresses are not published here.

Use it when a renewal invoice arrives or when you want to know which public price the advertisement is quoting. The figures are from BigRock's own pages on 29 October 2026.

Domain prices on the public list

TLDFirst purchase1-year renewal on the list
.com₹749/year₹1,479/year
.in₹549/year₹899/year
.co.in₹669/year₹819/year on the 1-year line

The same list shows different rates for longer terms. The .co.in multi-year renewal was not the same as ₹819, so match the term. A privacy fee was not on the list we saved. Source: BigRock domain price list.

Linux hosting prices that parsed cleanly

The offer page headline was ₹39/month, effective for the first year when you buy for two years. The Standard row:

How it was labelledPurchase yearSecond yearTwo-year total
1-year Standard₹139/month, ₹1,668₹199/month, ₹2,388₹4,056
2-year Standard₹39/month, ₹468 for that year₹199/month, ₹2,388₹2,856

Other rows on that page were not stable enough to quote. The page says cPanel, a free SSL certificate, SSH, an India or US server, email with a 10 GB storage limit in one of its answers, CodeGuard backup as an add-on, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Source: BigRock Linux hosting offer.

₹199/month in year two is below WebJi's L-Basic rate of ₹300/month. That is a real difference. The add-on line for backups is the other half of the comparison.

If you decide to move

Copy files and the database first. On the Linux shared product, the page itself says the panel is cPanel, so cPanel's backup is the file to make for that product. If your invoice is for a different BigRock product, use the file download and a database export instead.

The domain can stay at BigRock. Change nameservers or the A record when the new copy has been clicked through. Keep the BigRock account until mail works on the new host. Steps that apply to any host are on move a website off BigRock. This page does not list a BigRock phone number.

Rates printed on this website

These figures are WebJi's, printed on webji.in. They are not a price for any other company.

Shared hosting lists L-Basic at ₹300/month (₹3,000 for one year), L-Unlimited at ₹400/month (₹4,000) and L-Developer at ₹700/month (₹7,000), before 18% GST. That page also says renewal rates are printed before you pay. The shape of the price is a monthly rate and a one-year total, not a 36-month or 48-month introductory rate.

Domain registration lists indicative ranges, before 18% GST: .com registration ₹900–1,200/year and renewal ₹1,000–1,400/year; .in registration ₹500–800/year and renewal ₹700–1,000/year. A range is not a cart total. The amount at checkout is the price.

Where another company's renewal figure is lower than ₹300/month, that is what their page showed. Compare that renewal figure with L-Basic, then add tax on both sides. A lower first-term advertisement is a different number from the renewal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is BigRock's .com renewal on the public list?

On 29 October 2026 the list showed ₹1,479 for a one-year .com renewal, against a first purchase from ₹749. Longer registrations on the same list had their own per-year rates. The cart for your term is the confirmation.

Is ₹39/month the hosting price in year two?

No. The page footnoted ₹39/month as the first year of a two-year purchase. The Standard row showed ₹199/month in the second year. The one-year Standard purchase was ₹139/month, then ₹199/month.

Does the Linux page include backups?

The page describes CodeGuard as a backup you can add when you buy. It does not describe that backup as included in the Standard row we quoted. Check the tick-boxes before you compare the ₹199 renewal with another host's price.

Can I keep the domain at BigRock and host elsewhere?

Yes. Hosting and registration are separate. Point DNS at the new host and leave the registration until you have a reason to transfer it. An authorization code is only needed for a registrar transfer.

Is WebJi cheaper than BigRock's ₹199 renewal?

No. L-Basic on this website is ₹300/month before GST, which is higher than ₹199/month. The comparison is only honest if backups, server location and tax are on the same side of the table as the price.

Where are the move steps?

On the page that covers copying a site off BigRock: files, database, mail and DNS, in that order. The old account stays paid until the new one has been tested.
