cPanel was on all four cards. Email and a domain were on Economy, Deluxe and Ultimate, and were not listed on Starter.
What to put next to those numbers
A useful alternative is one whose renewal, currency and tax you can read before you pay. Ask each cart for the same four facts.
- Price after the first term, for the same plan.
- Months you must prepay to get the low figure, and the amount due today.
- Whether mail, SSL, backups and a domain are in the plan or ticked as extras.
- Whether the invoice is in INR and shows GST.
WebJi's L-Basic rate of ₹300/month before GST sits next to GoDaddy's ₹299 Starter card figure, not next to ₹89. If a host's renewal is lower than ₹300, that host is cheaper on the renewal. Write the number down from their cart.
Moving the site without a phone call
You do not need GoDaddy's support line to leave. Copy files and the database while the account still works. cPanel was the panel named on the hosting cards, so a cPanel backup is the file to look for if your product is that shared hosting. Export mail over IMAP if you need the old messages.
Then change DNS. The domain can stay at GoDaddy while the site is hosted elsewhere. A registrar transfer is optional and has its own rules, covered on the transfer a domain away from GoDaddy page. Keep the old account until the new site and the new mail have both worked.

These figures are WebJi's, printed on webji.in. They are not a price for any other company.
Shared hosting lists L-Basic at ₹300/month (₹3,000 for one year), L-Unlimited at ₹400/month (₹4,000) and L-Developer at ₹700/month (₹7,000), before 18% GST. That page also says renewal rates are printed before you pay. The shape of the price is a monthly rate and a one-year total, not a 36-month or 48-month introductory rate.
Domain registration lists indicative ranges, before 18% GST: .com registration ₹900–1,200/year and renewal ₹1,000–1,400/year; .in registration ₹500–800/year and renewal ₹700–1,000/year. A range is not a cart total. The amount at checkout is the price.
Where another company's renewal figure is lower than ₹300/month, that is what their page showed. Compare that renewal figure with L-Basic, then add tax on both sides. A lower first-term advertisement is a different number from the renewal.
